A real page-turner. Enthralling & enchanting, yet without a trace of misplaced sentimentality. It transports the reader to the wild world of the wolf & the tribulations they face. The author’s in-depth knowledge of the wolf’s environment is evident throughout. Not since the classic: “White Fang” by Jack London have I been transported into the mind of a wild animal so eloquently. I’m loving this story Gordon. You have a rare skill.

I read My Cousin and Me and Other Animals by Gordon Harrison and I cannot express how pleased I am to own that book. It is dog eared and worn after owning it for a year or maybe a year and a half by now, but I carry it with me always and often pull it out whenever I’m not busy, so a bit of wear is to be expected.
Gordon filled that book with pictures and stories and an amazing share of his heart. That book was informative, entertaining, and just downright beautiful in words and pictures. I am looking forward to Gordon Harrison’s new book on wolves with great anticipation.
Your work touches my heart and I am so happy that we encountered each other, Gordon. You’ve made a friend and a fan in me.
